Today marks the last day as Rector for Mr Ken MacLeod after 10 years at the helm. In his final assembly address to the boys, Mr MacLeod said ‘I’ve enjoyed your energy, your humour, your passion and enthusiasm, your always friendly greetings, your pride in the school seen often on the Sports Field. Lindisfarne is a special place and I hope you are, and will be, extremely grateful for the opportunity you have to be educated here.’
The school community would like to thank Mr MacLeod for his valuable service to the school and his commitment to fostering the good reputation of the school at home and abroad. There is no doubt that his legacy will be marked by more than bricks and mortar and that his time at Lindisfarne has been influential for staff and students alike. We wish him and his family the very best for the future.
