Assistant Hostel Manager
We are seeking a part-time Assistant Hostel Manager to join our boarding staff team. The successful applicant will support our boarding managers with the supervision, welfare and pastoral care of all Boarders.
Experience is not essential as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be someone who has the ability to form positive working relationships with young men in a structured environment with high standards and expectations.
The position is term time, with variable hours per week, between Monday-Sunday.
- One duty each week during term time according to the duty roster, comprising of:
- 6.45am – 8.15am (Morning Duty)
- End of school day until 10.45pm (Afternoon/Evening Duty)
- Weekend duties during term time according to the duty roster (approximately one day every second weekend)
- Saturday duty 7.00am – 10.45pm
- Sunday duty 8.00am – 10.45pm
- Complete additional duties for:
- Pre-planned events that require the support of the entire boarding team, such as start of term, end of term and Boarding Prizegiving.
- Covering Hostel Managers who are on sick leave
