- 2NDXI A loss, unfortunately, in our semi-final. We could only field 10 players. Lewis Pettiford top scored with 40, Tom Goodisson scored 36 and Mr Hanham scored a sublime 6 not out. Shea Bentley was the best bowler with 2 for 26.
- 1st XI won the Gillette Cup
Last Thursday in Palmerston North the boys were superb in beating PNBHS in the Gillette Cup regional final at Fitzherbert Park. For the first time since 2013 and only the second time in the history of the competition, started in 1990, we are heading to Christchurch in December for the playoffs for the top 6 schools in NZ!

Junior A touch team
Thursday 14/3. We won 3 – 1 against Wairoa. A slow start but managed to pull away with win in second half.
Thursday 21/3– We won against Napier Boys 9 – 0. A great team performance from the boys. Jonty Lowe and Kingshouse Tupuola communicating well and showing good leadership on the field.
SWIMMING
Cole Searle - NZ Division 2 Championships recently held in Dunedin gaining a Silver medal for the 100 IM ,14 yr boys catagory.
He achieved personal best times in all entries finishing in the top 4 and 5 for 50 fly, 50 breaststroke, 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle.

MOUNTAIN BIKING:
Taylor Topphad a great week racing his downhill bike in Rotorua against very tough competition in the U17’s category. His final results were:
- 13th in the downhill race of the National MTB Championship in Rotorua.
- 9th out of 95 riders in the Crankworx Air Downhill race
- 10th out of 40 riders in the Crankworx Downhill race
Matt Quinneycompeted at Crankworx too. His results were:
45thout of 95 riders in the Crankworx Air Downhill race
- During the Crankworx Downhill, Matt was looking very good during practice navigating the rugged Crankworx downhill track, but unfortunately a crash during his race run in the infamous ‘larches’ section of the track meant a mandatory stop for 10 minutes while he was cleared for concussion.
SAILING:
The Lindisfarne sailing team did extremely well at the Hawkes Bay Secondary School Sailing Regatta placing 2nd overall
ORIENTEERING:
HBSS OY Sprint Champs - Braeden, Ronan and Cormac competed in the HBSS Sprint champs with the following results: Senior Boys - Braeden- 2nd, Ronan 3rd. Intermediate Boys - Cormac 2nd.
