Three Lindisfarne boys recently joined eight girls from Napier Girls and Iona for their Practice Silver Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey. Afoot instructors, Julia and Rebecca, took the team away for three days - up and along Makino Ridge, down to and along the Makino River (for a full and rather wet day!) and out via the Mangatainoka Hot Springs and the Mohaka River.
