Matt Buckeridge, Year 12, has been selected for a Blake Inspire environmental leadership programme. The concept is designed to give young people the training and support to initiate and lead environmental programmes in their schools and communities. Matt applied online and was chosen from a field of over 400 applicants after sending in an online interview. He is one of 70 young people who will be attending workshops and training sessions in Auckland and Hamilton and will be flown up to Auckland in November.

It is a great honour to be chosen for this prestigious programme and our congratulations go to Matt. We hope to hear all about the programme when he returns.
