As has come to be expected, the Lindisfarne team performed outstandingly well at the recent ECNI Championships held in hot conditions at the Regional Sports Park. A team of 14 athletes competed in a variety of events with 10 titles being won in total and resulted in 8 athletes gaining selection to represent the ECNI region at North Island Champs in Hamilton in April. 

These titles were as follows:

Charlie Roil            Open 300m Hurdles

Tom Goodisson      Open 2000m Steeplechase

Jonty Roil              Intermediate Discus

Matt McKendry       Junior 100m Hurdles

Kingston Rabbitte   Junior Triple Jump

Senior Boys           4x100m Relay

Open                    4x400m Relay.

In addition to these results there were 17 additional placings making it a very successful day for the Lindisfarne athletes.
