
CRICKET
Gillette cup match last Thursday afternoon vs HNHS. Padda and Cassidy put on 126 for the third wicket. Cassidy got 184 off 104 balls with 17 fours and 12 sixes before being out in the 33rd over. This is the fourth highest score in Lindisfarne College First XI history.
Geordie Calder scored a good 44 at the end of the innings and Lindisfarne made 330 all out in their 50 overs.
Havelock were all out for 171 with Sam Cassidy taking 4-23, Quinn Stephens 4-51 and Finn Reid 2-27.
A loss to Lindisfarne White against Hastings Boys on Wednesday. But despite the loss we had an excellent innings from Zach Taylor (20) and Angus Martin (36). Sam Crystall was the pick of the bowlers with 1/4 off 2 overs.
ST PAULS EXCHANGE
Cricket – the partnership between Lovepreet Padda and Quinn Stephens who put on 129 runs for the fifth wicket. Padda scored the first inter-school traditional century in many years to finish with 107 and Quinn Stephens remained 55 not out and the First XI reached 241/5 at the close of play. Sadly the rest of the match was washed out.
The Colts played a strong St Paul's side and managed 114 all out with Angus Scott scoring 48. Oscar McDonald took the only St Paul's wicket and this game was abandoned too due to weather.
Tennis – In doubles seniors won 2-1, The top doubles pair of Hunter Every and Jackson Lambert easily won their match by 9 games to 1. Ben Hansen and Will Apatu narrowly lost their match 9 games to 7, and Harry Brenton-Rule and Tom Baines came from 3-0 down to win by 9 games to 4, and Juniors won 3-0
KARATE
Antoni Milewski has gone up a grade to First Darn which also means black belt with gold stripe.
7’s RUGBY
We finally won the Colts Paladin 7’s title after 6 years of attempting.
In the final we played Clive and took the title 22-0
Lanson Randell was outstanding and was named player of the tournament for the colts.
Scorers – Monte kicked 18 points in 3 games. Tries: Lanson – 5, Jonty, George Newman and Patrick – 2 each, Tuawhio Porima and Sean Lagikula – 1 each.

SURF LIFESAVING
Bay of Plenty Champs we had Marshal Soane, Zach Ebbett-Watt and Jarvis York compete.
Jarvis received gold in the u15 beach sprint. Silver in the u15 beach flags. Gold as part of the open mens beach relay team.
Marshall received bronze in u19 taplin relay, u19 ski relay and u19 board relay
BP IRB Surf Rescue North Island Championships we had Beau Marshall compete as a patient in his team. Beau and his team-mates in the U23 Mass Rescue race won the B Final
