Teacher of Economics to NCEA Level and Social Studies​​​​​​​

​​​​We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Economics to NCEA level and Social Studies, with the ability to teach Agribusiness an advantage. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Cleaner

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and motivated cleaner who shares our vision for maintaining a clean, tidy and healthy environment for our staff and students to work in.

This role is 30 hours per week (term time), six hours a day, Monday- Friday. Additional hours may be required to provide cover at varying times (including school term holidays). 

The duties include the day-to-day cleaning of the college facilities and the College’s fleet of vehicles.  The role will require the successful applicant to:

  • Thoroughly clean surfaces and floors in allocated classrooms, corridors, offices, washrooms etc.
  • Thorough cleaning of interior and exterior surfaces of the College’s vehicles.
  • Safe removal of waste and litter to allocated disposal points.

Lindisfarne College provides a supportive friendly and collegial working environment.  Meals, morning tea/afternoon tea are provided during term time whilst on duty.

Workshop Technician

We are seeking a Workshop Technician to support our teachers in the Technology Department on a part-time basis (20-25 hours per week) during the school term.

The core function of this position is to ensure that the technology workspace is ready for teaching by routinely maintaining tools and equipment and ordering departmental materials. The technician will also provide technical set up support for teachers before and during practical lessons.

Our ideal candidate will have a relevant trade background or previous hands-on practical experience. The successful candidate will need high levels of initiative and attention to detail and the ability to build and nurture good working relationships within a team environment.
