PROSPECTUS

ENROLMENT

Established in 1953 we are respected for our commitment to excellence across all our cornerstones of learning, from Intermediate To Year 13. Thank you for your interest in enrolling at Lindisfarne College, one of New Zealand's leading boarding and day College for boys. We welcome pre-admission for boarding and dayboys any time from birth upwards at no cost, for all year groups. Applications should be made on the official Application Form. If you would like to enrol as an International Student please enquire through Enroller

We are experiencing very high levels of interest in both boarding and dayboy places. If you are considering Lindisfarne College for your son’s education we recommend you enrol now.

Boarding

Our roll accommodates around 500 students of whom half are boarding and the other half dayboys. We offer weekly and full boarding options tailored to meet the needs of both students and parents.

All prospective boarding students must attend an interview with the Rector as part of the admissions process. These generally take place in Term One of the year prior to admission.

Dayboys

For day enrolments, in particular, it is advantageous to enrol your son early so that his name can be placed on the waitlist in order of the date that we received the application. Date of application is an important factor in gaining a place at the College.

Dayboy applications for 2025 year 7-9 will close at 5pm on Friday 19th April, 2024.

Dayboy applications for future years remain open.

Feel free to contact our Enrolments Office if you have more questions

International Students

We have a growing international student community from a number of different countries including New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa, Thailand, China, Japan and Europe who all board at the College. We accept students from Year 7 onwards. All students need to have a reasonable level of English at the time of enrolment. All our international students undergo either a face-to-face interview or a Skype interview prior to acceptance to the College
