New Zealanders are renowned for their friendliness, down-to-earth
approach and hospitality. Delegates to the 2009 Conference will learn a
huge amount from the social interactions that they will experience with
educationalists from boys' schools from around the globe.
We have scheduled social events that will maximise the interaction between delegates:
Tuesday,
7 July – World Trivia Challenge Delegates and partners from different
countries will be allocated to teams, where they will work together to
answer questions of an International flavour. We hope the evening will
prove an entertaining 'ice breaker' for delegates.
Wednesday, 8 July – A Taste Sensation at a
Prestigious Hawke's Bay Vineyard Delegates and partners will be
transported from their accommodation at the end of Day 2 to three of
Hawke's Bay's most prestigious vineyards to sample the best of the
province's cuisine and wine.
Thursday, 9 July – An Art Deco Experience An
opportunity for delegates and partners to enjoy a superb buffet,
sampling signature New Zealand dishes and be entertained by the Hawke's
Bay Art Deco band.
