College Council

  • Lindisfarne College is governed by the ‘College Council’, which combines the usual ‘Board of Trustees’ group with members elected to manage the hostel and the ‘special character’ of our integrated school. Composed of elected parent, staff and student representatives as well as co-opted members, the group is a dedicated, hard-working team which meets regularly to discuss and confirm the school’s policies and direction. Responsible for the financing of the school, the council “provides generous staffing over entitlement to extend students’ learning opportunities”. (ERO Report 2008)
